The Atlantic Massage Therapy Clinic was established in 1990 by Lynn Gray in order to meet the ever increasing demands for hands on health care. In addition to massage therapy, AMTC also offers other therapies such as Osteopathic Manual Therapy, manual lymph drainage, reflexology.
All Massage Therapists and Osteopathic Manual Practitioners associated with this clinic have graduated from an accredited college and have extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL THERAPY
A classically trained, Osteopathic manual practitioner makes use of an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and the principles that were outlined by its founder Dr. A. T. Still in 1874. By removing the obstructions that restrict the flow of nerves, arteries, veins, lymphatics and the cerebrospinal fluid; an osteopath is trained to restore the health, balance and well being to their patients through adjustment of the body in a gentle, vitalistic and holistic nature.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of hands on therapy which encourages the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a hands on approach to health that utilizes applied pressure to reflex zones on your feet, hands or outer ears to affect your entire body and promote health and vitality.
